OPTIONAL
SUPPORT SERVICES Customers who are
enrolled in any Support Program may enhance and customize their Support
Programs with ABSI by selecting from a number of optional technical support
services available. All optional services are available upon receipt of
Purchase Order and must be paid in advanced.
Optional Technical and System Support Services include:

Right
to New Versions. ABSI constantly incorporates new
functionalities and features to its Software Product Releases. ABSI
Customers will be informed of any new Software Product version releases
and/or technical patches, whenever these become commercially available.It
allows the Customer access and use of all or a portion of major and
minor Software Product upgrades as they become available, to keep
their systems current with the latest fixes, along with new features
and functionality. The licenses for any new version releases and/or
technical patches, shall be enjoyed immediately by the Customer upon
execution of the written Notice of Intent to use these and may continue
for as long as the Customer would have need for those. Customers under
the Basic Technical and System Support Program may avail of the Right
to New Versions at 15% of the current Software List Price. Right to
New Versions is included in both the Silver and Gold Technical and
System Support Programs. The Customer has the option to retain, maintain
and use their current Software Product version or to implement the
new Software Product version releases and/or technical patches. Time
spent by ABSI Technical Support Staff for the presentation, mapping,
installation, system testing and implementation of such new version
releases and/or technical patches will be debited from the available/
remaining Onsite man hour-entitlements. In addition, any hardware
and network upgrade and system migration as well as database conversion
that may be required to implement new Software Product version releases
and/or technical patches will be debited from the available/ remaining
Onsite man hours-entitlements. On the other hand, should the Customer
opts not to get and implement any new Software Product version releases
and/or technical patches, then they will have to sign a WAIVER of
the RIGHT TO NEW VERSION and would therefore free ABSI of any responsibility
and/or accountability under the Support Program Right to New Versions.
